POLYESTER SHORT CUT FIBERS
Short cut polyester fibers were developed for reinforcing paper in the early 1980s. It has been noticed that the addition of 3-5% of these fibres gives the cellulose:
increased sheet strength and tear resistance
reduced weight
increased water-loss capacity
a higher drying rate
greater productivity
reduced costs
APPLICATIONS OF POLYESTER SHORT CUT FIBERS
